LVH–Macungie is a licensed acute care hospital, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, housed in a state-of-the-art 22, 000-square-foot facility with a full-service emergency room. There are 10 inpatient beds for those requiring overnight hospital stays, for additional care, observation and testing. If you arrive at LVH–Macungie with more acute medical problems, or require surgery, you would be stabilized and transported to a larger LVHN hospital with increased care capability. ,
